People ask me where I'd love to go for a holiday, and sometimes I say "1968". Well, I got my wish recently at Mr. Frostie. You could pick this place up and plunk it at the shoreline of Connecticut or Rhode Island near any Clam Shack from my childhood in the 60s and no one would bat an eyelash. I had a roast beef sub and a thick, sweet chocolate malt (made with real powdered malt, not the synthetic liquid stuff) and I was one happy camper. In fact, I was in San Diego for a week and managed to suck down several of their chocolate malts. Thank you for giving me a holiday experience I've craved for over 50 years now. I love you guys!!!

The best soft serve in San Diego. And the nicest employees. Arrived once right after closing, the guy came out the back and gave me and my wife some ice cream sandwiches. Not common to be treated that generously these days. The other day I ordered a mini cone for a snack. I fumbled with my wallet for about 1.5seconds and he said no charge. Usually demand makes for a poor supply. Not in the case of Mr. Frostie. The line goes very quickly and is worth the wait.

Excellent pricing on the items. 4 tables for family seating with 1 smaller yellow table for the kiddos. Nice variety of ice cream flavors and the like. Parking can be a challenge but once you're dipping in ice cream, you'll be in a cool Frostie dream.

This place has been here for probably 50 years and while their menu has changed slightly, it's a nostalgic, throwback style beach town establishment. A perfect stop after a day at the beach. You order your cone, sundae or food at a walk-up window and can take it to go or eat at one of their outdoor picnic tables. Parking is challenging and so is eating the dipped and sprinkled soft-serve cones before they melt - but that's all part of the experience! We've been taking our kids and their friends here every summer since they were little. Great memories made here.

I haven't had soft serve ice cream in years, and honestly I forgot how incredible it is. If you wanna revisit your childhood, come here and get the half and half chocolate/vanilla. It's heavenly.

Love Mr.Frostie! It's been a staple of PB since 1949 & I'm so happy its in the neighborhood. The crew is very friendly, and they get the ice cream out very quickly too!

A fun little place to get ice cream while out walking around shopping and having a nice day. Friendly super quick service and tasty treats! I couldn't finish mine and neither could my friend.
